Bert "The Hurt" Spoils Sho-Air's Hopes For Gold

Backbone Adventure Cycling XC team anchor and long-time veteran Bert "The Hurt" Blanchette topped the podium yesterday, taking top honors from Sho-Air's well-backed riders. The consummate professional, Bert is that quiet guy who just continues to work hard to be at the pinnacle of his game. Bert has been heating up the single speed classes in both the State races and Nationals this year, despite his team stipend check bouncing as though it had been coated in silly-puddy. (I had closed out all CA accounts when I moved, since Wells Fargo has no banks here. Little did I know that Bert had gone about a day after that to cash his check! Sorry man!)
Bert will be travelling back to Vermont and North Carolina (I hope) for the Nationals this month. He is going to get his SEVEN CYCLES SOLA completely refurbished by Seven's Jennifer Miller herself! Great job Bert, you rock! Now go eat something.......
