Jim Roff In Crusted Butte

Here are some shots of Jim "shortz" Roff from the MSC race last week in Crested Butte. Photos are courtesy of Vast Action. Taylor said he hit that road gap (pictured below) on his first pre-ride of the course...and was in the air before he realized where he was. He was wondering why everyone was yelling for him with such vigor...turns out they were yelling AT him to slow the hell down! Anyhow, all the TOMAC PRIMER dh bikes performed perfectly..as have all the bikes so far. The KENDA NEVEGAL/EXCAVATOR

Hey y'all, speaking of the Excavators... I just threw on a fresh set of Excavators that I've had laying around for a while. I've been loyally running Nevegals for the past 3 years, with the occasional Short Tracker for the super fast courses... But I just got around to testing the Excavator last weekend in my local hills. Holy crap! For the loose and loamy dirt, these things have super mega retard strength grip! I did some super secret Eric Carter approved mods to the nobs for some extra grip, and in soft and loose dirt I can practically lay the bike over. Anyway, just wanted to get that out there. I havent seen too many reviews on the Excavator, or seen many others running them at races, at least compared to the popularity of the Nevegal. Try em out!
