24 Hrs of Moab Shut Down After 13 hrs!

Heidi and Darter

During today's race in Moab, Utah, three of Backbone's teammates were there! Heidi, Darter, and Donna were racing for separate groups at today's race. After a fun but gloomy start, Moab was surrounded by th black and ominous cloudcover that the region is known for. Wihin minutes, those on course were blinded by a rain so hard, it was almost angry. Trails turned to red clay goo, and riders were blinded by the torrent. Race organizers had to pull the plug after just 13 hours today. Race is set to resume tomorrow, weather permitting. Wish them all good luck, and we hope for better weather. Oh, Heidi and Darter's group were in SIXTH PLACE overall at the 13 hour split! More as I get it...
