Today (Sunday) I met up with teammate Oscar Rodriguez in Marshall Canyon for a long overdue ride. Now having three kids, Oscar pulls them in a trailer with his mountain bike for training! It's paying off, as Oscar was as strong as I have ever seen him on the steep pitches that make up the ascent. Oscar may be out for the Castaic race next weekend, and always looks forward to racing the Sea Otter Classic for us. I hope to Oscar more often, as he is a damn funny mo-fo, and will surprise everyone with his newly gained climbing prowess. Oh yeah, he ain't a bad descender either...
