Bev Monohan Injured And Out For Season

Backbone's very own Bev Monohan (Expert Masters XC and multiple Rim Nordic XC series champion) has announced some very bad news on a personal front. She has what appears to be a mountain biking career ending injury, and for a girl who has been getting 5 o 6 HUNDRED miles a month, that is devastating. She has been diagnosed with a nerve damage issue that makes it terribly painful to ride. She has also been struggling with a family issue that has not been allowing her to focus on her own problems.
