Halloween Visit From "Tookie"

Halloween was great yesterday. I woke up so hung over I couldn't even function until noon, and I was off! I don't know how Lyd managed to get to work. Anyhow, at about 1pm, Tookie showed up with his beat-down 29er Fisher, and we rolled to Alum Creek...














Talking the entire time we were riding, we almost crashed into five or six trees. Hard to ride when you are looking backward going "what??" All the skinny stuff we managed to shut up long enough to ride, and got through it all pretty quickly. We had time, so we rolled to Phase 1 trail head and rode that, too. That trail is so much faster, and we ended up going through it in close to thirty minutes, still b.s.'ing the whole time.














Tookie's wife and daughter were at Disneyworld for Halloween, so he came up to eat our candy. Frikkin' Tookie. It was nice to ride somewhere with another Backbone jersey, and I hope I get to do it again next week!
















The above picture is Jeff on a teeter...someone came into the store last week who had broken their leg on this!













The fog and cold was blowing in around 4, so we headed for the truck and went home. We grabbed Luka and Lyd and loaded up on the sweet stuff. Hopped up on a Luck Brothers S'MORES iced frappuccino, Jeff rolled the two hour drive back to Kentucky.
