I ended up 3rd behind two guys who then were in the top 5 for the elite race later, one of which I’ve been second two four races now. Flat course through grass that sucked your wheel with absolutely no breaks, it was punishing.




Vanessa finished one spot away from taking home cash coming in 7th in front of at least two other girls. Quite respectable for her second time ever racing cross, last week being her first. She battled with another gal most of the race exchanging places then wore her down with a few laps to go to beat her out.
