Sea Otter Produces Medals Already!!

Bert Blanchette and Vanessa Humic mounted the podium on Thursday, bringing Backbone their first two medals of the week. Bert, in his Stars and Stripes equipped jersey, placed third in a sprint finish today. Vanessa took fifth in her SD race, doing MUCH better than two weeks ago in Scottsdale. Bert said he had never gone that fast downhill on his mountain bike ever before!
Congrats to the Dynamic Duo today, and thanks to all the team sponsors and support crew for keeping them riding.
