Vanessa WINS The Shootout!

The Backboners loaded up the podium at last weekend's BIG BEAR SHOOTOUT! Vanessa managed FIRST, Matt Thome took SECOND, and Brant landed FOURTH! Vegas Bob is said to have KILLED it and finsihed in 13th. Darter sent some pix, and said he actually threw down a top-20 finish as well (15th)! Bert was out with the HIV (just kidding), but he was sick, and so he and Ryan were out this time. Looking forward to hearing about James' keeping all the responsible people awake too late, and Vegas Bob hitting the wind trainer at midnight! Race reports to follow soon!
Great work Super-V and the rest of the Backbone Squad..and that certainly included Roger for keeping it all together.

It was just like the Christmas when I found Castle Grayskull hidden in the closet: I was wayyy too excited to wait till the morning to ride so I busted out a few miles on the Litespeed!!!
Oh, yeah, baby! Lucky 13. I caught Matt, and that was my race goal so I was pretty ecstatic about that!
