1 X 10 MTB Drivetrain?

Last night at the Be:Spoke bike show, I snagged this photo of a really sweet, but kinda fragile looking DURA ACE 10spd rear end mated to a single ring in front on a sweet 16lb rigid carbon BMC mountain bike. The rear was actuated by an old-school top-mounted thumb-shifter! I am probably at LEAST 100lbs. over the rider weight limit for this bike, equipped with three thousand dollar carbon wheels. The cost? ON PRO-DEAL, it is rumored to run about six thousand dollars.....
