Cali Lingerie Maker Moves To New Zealand

Central Valley lingerie manufacturer "Frederick's Of Bakersfield" has announced plans to move it's entire production to New Zealand this month. Siting the significant drop in the ratio of sheep to lonely farmhands in California, this is a major blow to the already crippled farm economy in the state.
In an interview with local affiliate KHIC Television, the CEO of the company was sorry, but has a company to look out for. New Zealand offered huge incentives, tax breaks, and much more. Also, the ratio of sheep to men is about 4,000 to one. This in it'sself was enough to make the lingerie maker pull up stakes and move halfway across the globe. News of the move has Kiwi's excited, and not just about the potential new jobs.
"This is a dream come true" said local farmboy, Dylan Kamunda. Dylan was doing the interview from a hospital where he was recovering from hoof injuries to his groin. The photo below is of a time honored New Zealand tradition, not unlike the Native American Buffalo Run. Here local males are pictured performing a ritual that attracts the sheep from the rocky hillsides into a clearing. A cliff on the left side prevents the sheep from leaving the area, and they begin backing into the crowd for fear of jumping to their death.

Frederick's of Bakersfield projects a net increase in profit of aproximately 300 percent in the first year alone, with a 98% share of the market.
